Helping Couples Stay Connected After Baby
Postpartum Together empowers parents with tools and coaching to build stronger communication, teamwork, and intimacy in early parenthood.
“Nearly two months after our baby was born we communicate (through our shattering exhaustion) better than we ever have in 13 years of marriage.”
-Katie
Why This Matters
Becoming parents brings joy, but also stress.
Many couples raise kids without nearby family support.
Unspoken expectations and constant decisions can leave partners feeling like roommates instead of teammates.
We make sure couples don’t just survive this season, they see it as an opportunity to open up into fuller more connected versions of themselves.
What We Do
We coach couples through five key areas:
Communication
The mental load
Emotional connection
Identity (self + couple)
Sex & intimacy after baby
We offer 1:1 and couple coaching, workshops, community events, a podcast, and practical digital resources.
Our Impact
Supported hundreds of parents through 1:1 coaching, group programs, and local events.
Reached 10,000+ listeners through our podcast, Better Relationships After Baby.
Partnered with OB offices, doulas, therapists, and community groups to provide preventative relationship care.
Created affordable, accessible resources like the Reconnection Kit for couples to use at home.
Parenthood is beautiful, but it can also leave couples feeling disconnected and overwhelmed. Postpartum Together is changing that by creating spaces, tools, and conversations that keep love and teamwork at the center of family life.
So far, this movement has:
Started Mom Brew Crew, monthly brewery gatherings where parents connect and talk real life.
Built a 6-week coaching program to help couples tackle communication, the mental load, and intimacy after baby.
Created the Reconnection Kit, a digital deck of prompts now used by families nationwide.
Partnered with local chiropractors, pediatric therapists, and perinatal professionals to expand support for parents.
Next, we’re growing even bigger:
Launching the Talk Like a Team interactive workbook so couples everywhere can access our proven framework.
Expanding Mom Brew Crew into new cities.
Hosting the first-ever New Parent Relationship Conference.
Strengthening our foundation with contractors for accounting, social media, and podcast editing so we can focus on coaching and community growth.
Because when parents thrive together, kids and communities thrive too.
Chelsea and Mike Skaggs are the husband-and-wife team behind Postpartum Together. As parents of two and partners in both life and business, they know firsthand how messy and beautiful the transition into parenthood can be. Through coaching, resources, and honest conversations, they help couples trade resentment for teamwork and disconnection for intimacy so families can thrive, not just survive, after a baby.
