We meet once a month at family-friendly breweries around Central Ohio, where moms can relax, connect, and bring their kids and partners if they want.
No pressure.

What Is Mom Brew Crew?
Mom Brew Crew is a monthly Central Ohio mom meetup hosted by Chelsea Skaggs, relationship coach and co-founder of Postpartum Together.
The goal is simple:
Create a relaxed space where moms can meet other moms without the pressure of parenting groups or structured events.
What usually happens:
• Moms show up solo or with friends
• Kids get entertained by our activity partner (changes each event but there’s always something guided for the kids!)
• Someone orders fries
• Conversations start with sleep schedules and end with real life stuff• Someone goes home with the giveaway prize (thanks to local small businesses!)
• Someone has a blowout and leaves quickly and now you realize you have to come back next time so you can see her again
It’s casual. It’s welcoming. And it’s a great way to meet other moms and couples in Columbus who are looking for connection.

Most of the breweries we choose have:
• outdoor space
• food trucks or casual food
• space for kids to move around
• a relaxed, welcoming vibe
Breweries like Henmick Farm + Brewery, Crooked Can Brewing Co, and Land Grant Brewing Co. have become favorites for moms + dads looking for something different than a traditional playgroup.

Mom Brew Crew is hosted by Chelsea + Mike Skaggs, relationship coaches and owners of Postpartum Together.
Chelsea works with couples and mothers navigating the early years of parenthood — including the mental load, relationship changes, and identity shifts that come with raising kids.
Mike works with expecting and new dads on finding their place in motherhood including noticing the mental load, communication + showing up as a strong, steady presence.
Mom Brew Crew started because so many moms said the same thing:
“I just want more friends who get it.”
So this became a simple way to make that happen.

Is Mom Brew Crew free?
Yes. Mom Brew Crew is a free mom meetup in Columbus, Ohio.
There’s no ticket and no membership required. Just show up, say hello, and grab whatever food or drink you’d like from the brewery.
Some moms order a beer or cider, some grab food from a truck, and some just come for the conversation. The point is simply having a low-pressure place for moms in Central Ohio to connect and get out of the house.
Do I have to bring my kids?
Not at all.
Some moms come solo because they need a break. Others bring their kids along because many family-friendly Columbus breweries have outdoor space, games, or room for kids to hang out.
Both are completely normal at Mom Brew Crew.
If you show up with kids, there will usually be coloring supplies or something simple for them to do. If you come alone, you’ll quickly find other moms happy to sit and chat.

Mom Brew Crew rotates between family-friendly breweries around Columbus and Central Ohio.
We typically meet at places like:

These locations were chosen because they have space for groups and a relaxed environment that works well for moms meeting up.

Do I need to RSVP?
RSVPing on the Mom Brew Crew Facebook event is helpful so we can estimate how many people might show up, but it’s not required.
Some moms decide on the day that they want to come. Others swing by for 20 minutes between kid activities.
If you’re nearby and curious, just come.
Chelsea usually arrives early to grab a space, so it’s easy to find the group.
Is Mom Brew Crew part of Postpartum Together?
Yes.
Mom Brew Crew is a community meetup hosted by Postpartum Together, a Central Ohio coaching practice that supports couples and mothers navigating the early years of parenthood.
While most of Chelsea’s work focuses on relationships, communication, and the mental load of parenting, Mom Brew Crew exists simply to help moms in Columbus and Central Ohio build real friendships and community.
Sometimes the best support starts with a casual conversation over a drink.
Can I come if I don’t know anyone?
Absolutely.
In fact, most moms who come to Mom Brew Crew show up not knowing anyone at all.
That’s the whole point.
