Six weeks to move, breathe, connect, and make a little more space for yourself during pregnancy.
Whether you're newly pregnant or counting down the weeks until baby arrives, this prenatal yoga series is designed to support you through the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy — while connecting you with other women in the same season of life.
6-Week Prenatal Yoga Series
At A Warrior’s Place
Galena, Ohio
Sundays @3pm Sept. 6th-Oct. 11th
Designed for women in any trimester. No previous yoga experience needed.
Pregnancy asks a lot of your body + your brain.
There are appointments to schedule, things to research, decisions to make, a body that seems to change every week, and a whole new version of life waiting on the other side.
This hour is a chance to come back to yourself.
Each week, we'll move through a pregnancy-friendly practice incorporating:
Intentional breathwork
Guided meditation and grounding
Prenatal yoga flow
Movement designed to accommodate your changing body
Time to connect with other expecting moms
You don't have to be flexible. You don't have to already practice yoga. And you definitely don't need to know what you're doing before you walk through the door.
Why Prenatal Yoga?
Yoga isn't just about stretching.
Staying physically active during an uncomplicated pregnancy is recommended for most pregnant people. ACOG notes that regular exercise during pregnancy can help reduce back pain and may lower the risk of conditions including gestational diabetes and preeclampsia.
Research specifically examining prenatal yoga has found potential benefits including:
Less stress and anxiety.
Research suggests prenatal yoga may help reduce anxiety and perceived stress during pregnancy.
Support for your changing body.
Movement during pregnancy can help with common discomforts such as back pain while supporting overall fitness and strength.
Tools you can carry into labor and postpartum.
Breathing, mindfulness, body awareness, and relaxation aren't skills that disappear when class ends. Some research has also found promising associations between prenatal yoga and improved comfort during labor, though results vary and yoga cannot guarantee a particular birth outcome.
A reason to intentionally slow down.
For one hour, there's nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to prepare.
You Don't Have to Do Pregnancy Alone
Come for the yoga. Leave knowing a few more people.
Making friends as an adult can already be weird.
Making friends while pregnant — when suddenly you really want someone who understands things like registry decisions, weird pregnancy symptoms, maternity leave, birth prep, and what exactly is happening to your ribs — can be even harder.
That's one reason this is a six-week series instead of a one-time class.
You'll see familiar faces each week.
You'll have a chance to talk before and after class.
And hopefully, six weeks from now, Central Ohio feels a little less anonymous as you head into motherhood.
Because preparing for a baby shouldn't only mean preparing the nursery. Your support system matters, too.

Meet Your Instructor
I'm Chelsea, founder of Postpartum Together and your prenatal yoga instructor.
For more than 10 years, my work has centered on helping women and couples navigate the transition into parenthood with more support, connection, and confidence.
I created this series because I believe preparing for motherhood is about more than learning what to do with a baby and I love seeing local community built in my hometown of Sunbury, Ohio.
It's also about caring for the woman becoming a mother — her body, her relationships, her identity, and her community.
Your pregnancy doesn't have to be one giant to-do list.
Give yourself six weeks to move your body, quiet your brain, breathe a little deeper, and get to know other women preparing for motherhood alongside you.
